For two decades, AEIOU has been at the forefront of providing life-changing early intervention for children with autism. This Gala is an opportunity to celebrate our journey, honour our incredible community, and raise vital funds to support the future of children with autism and their families.

Guests at the Gala will also be given an opportunity to make a caring pledge for children whose families are experiencing financial hardship through AEIOU Foundation’s Little Learner’s Fund. The Little Learner’s Fund provides financial bursaries to vulnerable families to aid cost-of-living expenses. These bursaries are intended to alleviate family stress rather than contribute to AEIOU’s program.

It is well known that families raising children with complex needs are more prone to financial hardship, social isolation, employment barriers, relationship difficulties, and mental health challenges. Being part of an understanding community is life-changing. We remain as true to our mission today as we did when AEIOU was first established, and we are proud of what AEIOU has achieved with our people, supporters, and the families who have chosen us to walk with them in the early years of their child’s development.

This Fundraising Gala recognises each of these pillars in our community, who have made it possible for us to work alongside every child and family over the course of two decades.
